Hi, my name is Mariusz Lewandowski I was born on July 31, 1960 in Działdowo. Currently I live and work in a small town in the north of Poland - Górowo Iławeckie. For the ideas of my work I embark on the deepest layers of the subconscious. I am interested in and inspired by music and unexplained phenomena. My favorite painter who most inspires me is Zdzisław Beksiński.

My first painting was created almost forty years ago. Since then I have been listening attentively to my thoughts, looking at the creations of my imagination, adding colors and symbols to them, and all this is etched on canvas. For the ideas of my work I embark on the deepest layers of the subconscious. The works that are being created in this way often depict phenomena that the human mind can not explain. I hope that the paintings I have the pleasure to present to you leave the spectator a place for your own thoughts and interpretations. I invite you to explore my gallery.
